Whitehall Welcomes You to Vet Fest 2024

The mission of Vet Fest is to provide an uplifting and educational day, bringing the military and civilian communities together to benefit our active duty and military families. This includes providing peer-to-peer networking, outreach from mental health groups, a showcase for military pride, and a display of gratitude. It also serves as a fundraising event for Stop Soldier Suicide.

We have added a virtual component so that everyone can participate from any location. We hope you walk, run, or ruck with us!

About Stop Soldier Suicide

Stop Soldier Suicide is the nation’s first veteran-founded-and-led 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to preventing military suicide. The organization believes that no one who has served our country should ever feel alone.

This best-in-class wellness program utilizes evidence-based risk assessment tools to help veterans and service members at risk for suicide. Stop Soldier Suicide offers a comprehensive plan and continuum of care, led by our highly trained case managers, that identifies risk and protective factors, provides connections to resources, and much more.

About The 22 in 22 Challenge

Every day, approximately 22 veterans and active duty military take their own lives as they succumb to the hidden battles of combat. The 22 in 22 Challenge was created to raise awareness about this crisis.

Teams from across the U.S. will walk, run, bike, wheel, march, or do yoga (or another activity of their choosing) every day for 22 days to raise funds and awareness about the military suicide crisis. All funds raised through the Challenge are donated to Stop Soldier Suicide, in support of their work to get needed resources to veterans and empower the military community for life.
